Happy Birthday Will!
Today little Will finally turned 40 weeks old -- and is technically term. He's been around for 3 weeks now (he wasn't deemed premature), but the doctors would say that he was just a wee bit early. Will had his 2 week check-up yesterday and passed with flying colors. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. and 20 inches long. So far he's gained over a pound since birth and grown 1 1/2 inches! We definitely can feel the little bugger getting bigger... The Doc says he looks great, and we're now completely out of the woods re: his early low temperature and lethargy.
Christian and I are working on very little sleep, and are still trying to figure out this baby thing. We keep being told that it DOES get easier and this phase will pass so quickly that we better enjoy it. Hard to keep in mind at 3:00 AM when he won't go back to sleep -- but we try.
We've been slow on the pictures, but here are a few more recent ones. Of course, the second one is of the Twins -- Mouse and Roosevelt. I think they've ben cuddling together a lot because we're not paying enough attention to them...

What a cutie! Thanks for updating with new pictures. Little Will looks like he is very comfortable in his new surroundings! Talk to you soon.
ReplyDeleteHow come the cuddling kitties are cuter than the little one??
ReplyDeleteI guess you need another Will to beat the cuteness of the two kitties.
You'll have one year to get it done!!
